Cub Scouts!!

I am not a great cub-parent. Now that that statement is out there, I fully expect to be called as a Den Mother or something. Maybe I should retract the statement. BUT. I will say that after seeing my brand-new cubscout in his spanking new uniform, my heart has melted a little. I mean seriously... who could resist this boy?? :) Of course, I didn't notice the stain that dinner left on his undershirt until now. I swear. Can you EVER keep them clean???

I am SOOO clueless on the whole scouting thing...which led to Ty getting last place in every race at the "rocket derby". But...they do look very handsome in their scout uniforms!! :)

Ah, cute little (I mean BIG!) Harris. Remember when he loved me? :)

I'm not going to be a good scout mom either. Freak! I'm glad I only have one boy! Good luck, Jen!

Harris is sooo handome. Looks like life is keeping you plenty busy. Cub Scouts is a new adventure...believe me. I thought bear, wolf, etc was an age advancement who knew you had to earn anything. Where have I been??? Well we learned the hard way. 3 weeks before James turned 9 we did a years worth of scouting to become a wolf. Can you tell I have 6 sisters??

There is nothing cuter in the whole world! I fear my worst nightmare has come true and I have been converted to the bizarro world of scouting. I just got released after two years of being the Bear Den leader and I feel a little sad. Who knows, I may actually wear my yellow shirt to church or even a social gathering one day! Help me!
