So it finally happened. I always knew having small dogs with even smaller bones would come back to bite us one day. The day has come. Riley was holding Broozer, he started freaking out, so she dropped him, and SNAP! All FOUR bones in his back paw broke. It was an impressive break the vet says. Of course. So impressive that we can't do surgery to fix it, so we are just casting it for now. Yes, you can see the pic. :)
Anyway, life is getting back to normal after the trauma. He is doing much better and hopefully this will all be another funny story in the chapter of the book we still need to write. Sigh.

Sad! Poor little dog. Although he definitely gets bragging rights--That's quite the cast.
How is poor Broozer? Does he still think he is the toughest dog in the world?
Poor Broozer, i am sorry he still in the cast.
Have you ever heard about our dog that looks like a little rat? (Italian Greyhound) Well our little dog has brightened my family's lives with seizures, periods, lots of nervous shaking during every emotion of her life, etc. How do you feel about your little dog? I'm assuming he is normal and a joy to be around... his poor little leg breaks my heart.
sorry to the friend who as the italian greyhound. we have one, and she is a nervous little thing. but, she doesn't have periods or seizures! she's like an energetic cat. hope your i.g. calms down for ya'!
as for broozer, poor guy! that picture is so sad! dogs are tough, though, so i'm sure he'll bounce back!
