Jack is three. I can't believe it!! For those of you who didn't know, Jack was an invitro baby. That whole process is so amazing. It really made me realize that God is in everything. Especially science. It was amazing to watch, and even more amazing to live. We were SO excited to find out that it took, and that we were pregnant.
After a LONG and difficult pregnancy, he was born, and even on his days that he is being... uhmmm.... trying... I wouldn't trade him for ANYTHING. Happy Birthday my little "Miracle Max". (For whatever reason I used to call him that.)
Here are a few of my favorite pics of him.

I love Jack Basquack!! I can't believe how big he's gotten! I looked at all of his little newborn pictures and it's crazy how much he's already grown up!!! Happy Birthday Jacky!!!
He IS your miracle baby. It goes to show that those spirits that are supposed to be here...Will get here at whatever cost. He is a cutie and you guys will not lack in the girls knocking down your door as he gets older...Happy Birthday Jack!
Happy Birthday Jack! I forgot what a beautiful newborn he was. I love that picture of David looking at him and the one of you with him at the wedding! He is just so lovable. He seems like he has such a kind heart. I agree with Charity, with he and Harris, you are going to have some girls coming around! Are you alive? Call me if you can. Love you and hope you are feeling better.
I just want to publicly thank Jennie for doing this blog. I can't express how happy it makes me. For those of you that don't know I'm a sap, I cry at the thought of my babies growing up and leaving me, I can't go to weddings, missionary farewells, high school graduations or anything else that represents that inevitable creep to my babies not being mine and becoming the amazing people that they are.
So again thank you Jennie for giving me the most wonderful things in my life and making it whole.
I can't believe it's been 3 years! It seems like just yesterday you were shooting yourself in the butt each day! Being a parent is a labor of love. I think sometimes we appreciate it more when it worked hard for it. I can't say much, I only got a small taste of it... but I can honestly say that I did appreciate my miracle and the fact that God trusted me enough to send them to my home. And I think you're amazing for being willing to go through what you did- especially when you already had 2 kids and could have pushed the need for a 3rd aside. He's a lucky man to have a mom who knew he needed to be here!
Happy Birthday, Jack!
Jack can't grow up...he has to stay little forever!!! I have always loved those pictures of him in the blue pjs. I love that smile. It seems so wierd to think back to when you didn't know if he would ever decide to show his cute face in this earth. :) You are so lucky to have him and we are lucky that he is Easton's best buddy!!
P.S. David...you need to sign your name when you leave comments so that we don't get confused. Also, you look VERY handsome in that picture of you looking at Jack. I hope that doesn't make you too uncomfortable. :)
Jen! I found you again!
You and your family look FANTASTIC!
(I stumbled on to your blog when I was looking at someone else's)
Your kids are ADORABLE! We miss you in the ward--but it looks like you took to Utah well.
This is Patti Speight by the way--don't let the crazy blog name fool you--feel free to look at what my crazy family has been up to lately. . .
Blogging is such an AWESOME way to keep in touch!
I'm glad I found you again--do you mind if I post a link to your blog from mine so I can find it again easily? (you are welcome to do the same, of course!)
Yea! We're BLOG BUDDIES now! How cool is that?
I was reading some of your older posts today--and I just CRACKED UP over your Youtube videos--with the bipolar dog--and the NBA 'dance off'--and the guy with the snake. . .
SUCH FUNNY STUFF!
And a HAPPY (although belated) birthday to your sweet little Jack!
