Kids now-a-days...

So I had to laugh at Jack just now. He's happily munching on a tootsie pop (I know, I am mother of the year) and he quite loudly yells, (and I quote) "I wanna watch a show. Dora, boots, now." in his stickiest 2 year old voice. I had to laugh looking at him sitting on his tricycle in the house, and think, what if we just yelled random things we wanted, FULLY expecting them to happen? Can't you picture, you are sitting in a boring meeting and all of a sudden, " I want a mani-pedi, NOW!" What must life be like for our spoiled little children? :)

Cousins

My Cousin Diane came out for a wedding, and luckily for us, she got to hang here for a little while. We both have three kids, and the older 4 are all within a coule years of each other. We are SO happy to report that they're all friends! You never know how kids are going to mesh, but look below...
Kind of reminds me of simpler (and WAY less styilsh) times...
(Note bottom center, Diane and I)
I miss these days of Wearing your best (I know, scary!) clothes to Christmas Eve at Aunt Jane's house, hangin with cousins every chance we got, and eating until we thought we'd explode. Here's to the good 'ol days! Had a blast Diane!!!

****Puppies*****

Ok, so I know not all of you are as big of dog fans as we are, but seriously, you HAVE to admit. These next pictures are STINKIN cute!! Steven and Rachel (our niece and nephew) asked me to "puppy-sit" their little 3mo old Chihauhau today while they were gone and Broozer was JEALOUS. Like, really really jealous. It was hilarious. If I would pick up Zuess he was whine and scratch for me to pick him up too. At the end of the evening they decided that they could both be my friends, and slept together on my chest. Check it out...
That is Broozer's paw on Zuess's head...
Here they are just waking up...
And now fully awake and a little embarrased. It reminds me of the Friends episode where Joey and Ross take naps together.... :)

I LOVE Christmas!!

It's beginning to look ALOT like Christmas! Especially with the (ready for this?) 10 inches of snow that was dumped on Saturday. Yup, in one day. Crazy huh? So in the spirit of snow and Christmas, we finally got our tree up. We also made gingerbread houses! As a kids my mom baked the gingerbread, made the royal frosting, etc. We weregoing to do it, but we ran out of town when she was here for Thanksgiving, so I bought a cheesy gingerbread kit. But, they were still fun to do, and turned out pretty cute! :)

I swear, they had fun doing these! They look a little bored, eh?

Note the rock candy up the bottom half of the house.. we are trying to stay current with the candy house trends... hehehe....

!!!!!!!!!!!BRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So this picture was taken today, Dec 3rd, 3 days after we got 6-8 inches of snow IN ONE DAY! Now, to you Utahans, this might not seem odd or strange, but Portland would shut down if this were to happen! Also, the fact that it's still here hanging out, WEIRD! We ALWAYS have no snow within 24-48 in Oregon. It all melts away with the rain. As this is my first real snow of the season, I had to show you all, I am sure no one else will be as shocked as me. :)
